Renovated our 4room resale HDB a couple of months ago with Han Yong being our trusted interior designer. The entire process took us 3-4 months to complete, including the multiple pre-works meetings, shopping and finalising drawings.

Alistair was referred by a friend to help us with our BTO home.
Our first met up, my partner and I weren't sure of what ideas do we want for our house. Alistair patiently led the meeting and gave us so much ideas. And we thought it's impossible with this budget to get what we desired. Surprisingly, he managed to deliver within our budget and even add ons!
He was able to explain to us, what can be done and what cannot be done due to the limitations of a BTO. Things that can be done, he actively find ways to improve better on our ideas.
He gave very useful and realistic advices, he has so much experience for creative recommendations that we had never thought of it. It was very impressive on he manages to give us so much more in qualities of the products in that small budget and we were very grateful for his efforts in explaining the works and his initiative is commendable to update us on the works on a daily basis.

Cayden sought to understand our preferred design style and how we want to use the space in our daily living and in entertaining guests. He came up with ingenious design solutions to overcome the structural and space limitations of our flat to meet our needs.
Working within the constraints, he cleverly planned the layout of the flat to create usable spaces and succeeded in giving us living and dining rooms that are bright and airy throughout the day. With a keen eye for the aesthetics, he was not only able to deliver a functional living space but also brought in beautiful design elements that added a touch of class to the flat, so much so that our flat has attracted the attention of neighbours and even curious strangers.

We engaged the services of Cayden Lee for our home renovation project during the 4th quarter of 2022. Prior to that, we have interviewed and spoken with many sales representatives from various interior design firms. However, none of them really came close to satisfying our selection criterias. Eventually, we chose Cayden because he showed good knowledge of his work; his communication style is fluid and more importantly, we felt that we could trust him.
Anyone who had their home renovated during the period between 2020 to early 2023 would know that the average time taken to complete and handover the job is very long. A few of them even told us it will take at least 4 to 6 months. But our project went smoothly and was done in high standard in just 7 weeks ! Cayden worked with us closely and displayed a remarkable level of proficency.
Of course there will be lengthy discussions before and during the actual work on site. We are pleased with Caydenβs patience and timely intervention. Without having to liaise directly with the workers definitely helped a lot. Just communicating with Cayden and passing our instructions to him were enough to get all groups of workers on the same page.
Budget wise, it is a subjective matter and hard to say whether the quoted price is good. Nevertheless, in comparison with at least 2 dozen other quotations, Caydenβs pricing is reasonably competitive. Now, people are very concern about hidden costs. A beautifully crafted proposal that seemed desirable could turn out very ugly in the end. This is a real worry for home owners. Again, Cayden delivered on his promises with flying colours. The price point that we had a hand-shake over is the final billed amount. Apart from items on VO, nothing was added. Just a special mention. Cayden has a nice personality and is easy to work with.
There was a particular item on our VO that was a little beyond our budget. At first we considered striking it off to reduce the price point. To our surprise, Cayden offered to absorb the cost because he strongly felt that part of work was necessary. It impressed us a lot, that money isnβt the only thing on his mind. We decided to keep the item but turned down his kind gesture. I hope people wonβt start asking him to do the same. Lol, let this young man earn his dough & build his nest eggs :)
In conclusion, we highly recommend the services of Cayden Lee. In a time as such when industrial scammers are all over the headlines, we as consumers surely prefer to work with honest people. Perhaps, while getting your home renovated professionally, you could also soak in a breath of fresh air β Friendship.
